About The Ranch

The History
The ranch contains native oaks, madrone, and chaparral forest, with sandy soil. Vineyards have been incorporated into the native landscape along with a variety of plants from South Africa, Australia and the Mediterranean
The cliffs facing eastward provide an expansive view of some of the most famous vineyards of Santa Rita Hills: Clos Pepe, Babcock, Melville, Foley, Huber, Gypsy Canyon, Zotovitch, Taylor and Kessler-Haake. These cliffs were once an acorn grinding site of the ancient Chumash culture.
